She had been waiting for a good night’s sleep the entire day, yet there she lied awake at 3:11 A.M. She did sleep for a bit, but suddenly awoke in the middle of the night, famished. It took her almost an hour to fall back asleep. Even as she woke up at 7:30 A.M., she still felt exhausted. When will she finally feel rested?

Of what she did dream, she dreamt that she was back in Japan. It was hazy, with flecks of water in the air. She was walking through a small plaza. She entered a restaurant through a side entrance only to exit out the front entrance. She caught the glimpse of a customer staring at her in awe as she exited. “Do I look good?” She thought. She looked down at herself. She was wearing her brown, knee-high leather boots – something she almost always wore when the ground was wet. She also wore her faux fur long cardigan for warmth. She smiled to herself as she affirmed to herself that she looked cute. She walked down a long street, filled with shops on both sides, and the busyness of families enjoying the day even though the weather wasn’t ideal. She was holding a stone slate with a single paper fixed to it with directions. She stopped in front of a residence with a tall gate at the end of the street for a second and looked down at the slate. She compared the slate to the house address but continued walking. That wasn’t it. She finally found what she was looking for. . . A spa? She entered the women’s spa and wandered around, trying to find the exact suites listed on her stone slate. She assumed she was there for a job, but as she wandered through the suites, she found what she was looking for – the sauna. She was alone in Japan, yet everyone around her looked familiar. She shed her fur cardigan and found that she was wearing a maid’s dress underneath. Another patron entered the dressing room. As the patron changed from the spa robe to her clothes, She realized that they were wearing the same maid’s dress. “Do we have the same dress?” She asked the patron. “Oh yeah, we do! You don’t have the white undergarment for it though?” “I took it off because it got soaked the first day I came here,” she smiled as she conversed, happy to make a friend. “Oh yeah, when I wear the dress at the hospital, I can feel how uncomfortable it is all day. I can imagine how it’d be while wet.” The patron smiled as she finished dressing and exited the dressing room. She began to undress to enjoy the facilities.
