Normally there is a hint of reluctance when she read and affirmed each Daily Affirmation, but not this time. Not with this one. She was proud of how far she had come and who she was today because of her hardships. Although she is lost in her life’s direction, she’s proud of surviving thus far and the life she has made for herself up to this point. She’s in her mid-twenties and has been living on her own for a couple years already. In this day and age, not many people can say that anymore. And she’s proud of her ability to say just that.

She is proud of who she is and where she is.
