The couple started getting ready for their wedding ceremony. The ceremony was being held in an older-looking hotel, with an accordion-style small elevator. The hotel was designed to accommodate weddings as the elevator had a specific floor for the bride and groom. She squeezed into the tiny elevator with one of the members of her bridal party. Things went by in a blur and fury as she got dressed in a black lace corset wedding dress. The friend she was in the elevator with helped her secure her corset in the back. She noticed her veil was also made of black lace as it draped over her hair and face. The veil was thinly sheer, not too thick. She was able to see perfectly through the veil without much trouble. She hurried back to the elevator and down to the ceremony venue.
The aisle was lighted by moody candles sitting atop tall candle holders. The ceremony was small. The guests numbered about twenty. It was an intimate, beautiful ceremony.
Their families got together afterwards to celebrate, but they just wanted some time alone together, to let the moment sink in. She had been waiting for this moment since the beginning of their relationship. She knew she wanted to marry him. She wanted this moment just as it was. She was happy, relieved, grateful.
