I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Our Nest is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever had, possibly even the best. Their breakfast chili cheese fries are innovative and delicious. Their specialty cheese sauce is REALLY good. I love the fact that they have turkey chorizo as the main protein because I tend to stay away from pork. I love when breakfast restaurants have turkey as an option. They also have the option to substitute bacon for turkey bacon on their other dishes. The eggs were cooked perfectly for both our dishes. The knives were actually sharp! A weird observation but it happens so often where the knives at a restaurant are so dull and difficult to cut anything, especially when eating a Benedict. English muffins are tough to cut through and the knives here actually took no effort to cut through the breads. I also got a hazelnut latte and it actually tasted like hazelnut. Whenever I get any specialty coffee at a restaurant, it’s usually really strong and I can’t taste the flavor it supposedly has added. You can actually taste the hazelnut in this latte. Their tater tots were fresh and crispy. They had a good crunch. Even the pancakes were different! You can tell they were made in-house and fresh. You can almost taste the wholesomeness behind the pancakes. The owner of the restaurant was present as well, and was attentive to all his customers, taking his time to interact with each table. The menu prices were average for any typical brunch place, about $20/person. But the thing is – it’s actually worth the price (unlike some brunch places I’ve tried). The dishes we got were pretty heavy, but they did have healthier and lighter options on their menu as well. Their menu itself was also fairly impressive with at least 30 options. A definite must-try!
