I went shopping for myself for the first time in many years, and surprisingly only spent about $210 for two pairs of shoes, a really cute silk dress, peacoat, a pair of jeans, and a button up. I normally get my clothes from my oldest sister because she gets tons of samples from blogging and we wear the same size. I wanted to treat myself and get some new clothes for my new job. I bought a pair of flats so I’m not always wearing heels because besides sneakers, I only own one pair of flats that are very worn, knee-high boots, 3-inch+ heels, and booties. The office is business casual so sneakers are a no-go. I bought some jean leggings because the zipper on one of my jeans doesn’t stay up anymore. I bought another pair of booties because I just couldn’t resist… as well as the peacoat and silk dress were just extras. The dress is nice enough to wear to work; however, it’s a bit sheer, so I’ll use it for special occasions because it’s so cute. Retail therapy is another type of therapy for me so I feel very happy.
