The first thing I notice about a guy is their scent; whether the scent of their cologne or natural scent is attractive to me or whether their scent repulses me.
I just walked past a guy on the stairs and his cologne was very off-putting. It made me scrunch my nose after getting a whiff of it.
Which reminds me of an article I read years ago about how women are attracted to scent, something along the lines of:
“Studies have shown that body odor is strongly connected with attraction in heterosexual females. The women in one study ranked body odor as more important for attraction than ‘looks’.”

I think the article I read years ago said something about men being attracted to sound also, so the sound of a romantic interest’s voice or laugh. Or maybe it’s me projecting. K used to compliment my voice and laugh all the time, saying he missed hearing my voice or that I had a cute laugh. He used to say he loved hearing me sing, too. I’ve actually had a couple men compliment me when I sing even though I don’t have a great singing voice, which is odd. I enjoy singing, so I don’t care how my voice sounds anyways.
