It’s been a while since I’ve actually wanted to meet someone from SAC, and it’s the first time I’ve actually open-invited a group from SAC to meet me, and I’m glad I did! It’s amazing to meet someone who has gone through similar experiences as me, whose most recent ex also had sociopathic tendencies, who has also gone through sexual assault and is now on the brighter side. It’s amazing how much you can have in common with a complete stranger.

Some people say time goes by faster when you’re having fun, but for me, time actually goes by slower. It’s like my time is actually being fulfilled when I’m enjoying my time with someone and getting to know someone and feels more significant. We only talked for a little less than an hour and it feels like we spent the whole afternoon together. It’s such a great feeling to be meet someone and be comfortable being vulnerable because you just understand each other. It’s such a great feeling to make a genuine connection with another person.
