Huh. My name without vowel spells L N T R N – lantern. I guess that fits. I recently had my 45-day review at work and I received a really sweet compliment. “You fit really well with the team. There’s this ‘glow’ about you.”
I honestly never saw myself as a happy, “glowing” person. I always perceived myself as a quiet, shy, in-the-background kind of person. I never wanted to be the center of attention, scrutinized.
I never imagined myself being the “glowing” person, where other people notice it. It honestly means a lot to me that “glowing” is a term they would use to describe me. It makes me think that my life really has turned around for the better.
When leaving a previous job, one of my coworkers then said they would miss hearing my laugh.
I love both of those compliments. Glowing and the sound of my laugh in a positive way.
I hope I keep that light shining. I hope I don’t lose that glow.
