Them: every disagreement = an argument = a reason to break up/another reason why we’re not a good couple

Why do I pick the ones that always threaten to break up or mention how many times they wanted to break up whenever there is any slight disagreement.

JUST BECAUSE WE DISAGREE ON SOMETHING DOESN’T MEAN WE SHOULDN’T BE TOGETHER.

MEN. UGH. So stupid. It’s like they’ve never had a disagreement before or it’s the end of the world when a disagreement happens.

I absolutely hate when partners threaten to break up for any stupid reason. If you want to break up for a singular, isolated argument, maybe I shouldn’t be with you then. Especially after the partner has already agreed, yeah, that doesn’t solve anything, I’ll stop saying that when I’m upset. Oh yeah, you’re gonna stop, huh?

Especially when we both agree we want a long-term relationship. Tell me how you wanting to flee every time there’s trouble is indicative of a long-term relationship. Why would anyone want someone who wants to run away every time they sense danger? WE’RE NOT PREY. THERE IS NO PREDATOR. Stop getting all fucking flighty.
