I had the pleasure of assisting a friend in a photoshoot for his clothing brand, KaibanZero, and it took place at the ARTIC station in Anaheim, CA. I finally had a reason to go to the ARTIC station as I pass by it every day on my way to work. At night, it’s lit with beautiful, colorful lights that is always an eye-catcher when driving by.
I haven’t been able to participate in as many shoots or be as useful as a model due to my scars, but I’m glad I was able to be a part of it today. As much as I want my scars to be a symbol of what I lived past, I don’t want to glorify or beautify my scars. Scars are a symbol of what we’ve lived through, not what we want.
Photos of the shoot to come. . .
