Busy

I frequently have many things going on at once to keep myself busy and prevent myself from being bored, or to keep myself learning all the time. For instance, right now, I’ve been working overtime, taking stenography classes, researching court reporting schools, and looking through new job listings to see what’s out there. What if I just – I don’t know – relaxed? I’m considering discontinuing pursuing stenography at the moment as I can’t afford it right now anyways, and I’m already doing overtime at work – meaning lots of typing – so additionally typing on a steno machine to practice would just aggravate my tendonitis more. Maybe I just focus on work, my current job. Not necessarily working harder, but smarter. Stress less about work by knowing what I’m doing at work is right and perfecting the trade. That way, the only thing I need to worry about is how long I want to work. I need to take more frequent breaks at work, give my mind and body more breaks to prevent strain. My brain was pretty fried yesterday and my eyes had become tired, causing my vision to blur a bit by the end of the week. Luckily there is a lot of work to do to keep me busy and enjoy the benefits of working overtime.
