I recently read an article (okay I skimmed it) that stated some people don’t have an internal monologue and it just boggles my mind that some people just literally don’t have internally verbally thoughts. How do you think without thinking? It makes so much more sense now when he would answer, “Nothing,” whenever I asked…
Unless you’re capturing a specific moment or other obvious emergency reasons, YOU DON’T NEED TO PULL OUT YOUR PHONE DURING A MEAL. If I’m taking the time to spend with you for a meal, I want CONVERSATION.
