Daily Affirmation

I have all that I need to make today a great day. All I’m missing right now is good food for dinner, which I have the means of obtaining.

I was able to spend a majority of the day walking dogs. I met a pair of dogs, a husky and a malamute, that were the sweetest and gentlest giants ever. They walked so well and were so calm and patient. I love being able to visit dogs and get paid to walk them for just 20-30 minutes.

I also restocked on groceries today, but I still would rather order delivery than cook or eat anything in the house today. It’s one of my terrible habits.

I’ve showered all the dog off me, lit a great-smelling candle, played my chill playlist, and I currently have my journal open. It’s been a while since I’ve journaled and I need to make it a habit again because it does really help me. Even though I’m blogging now, my journal is still for my organization and other daily things I need to keep up with. I rarely ever actually journal in my journal, but the reflection exercises within the journal are great.

My day has been great so far and I’m glad I’ve torn apart from my past codependent self in order to allow myself to enjoy my time fully. My partner is in Big Bear for the weekend and has also been needing space to work on himself so he’s back at his parent’s place now. The space has given me clarity on what I need and how much of him I can support. Luckily, we’re able to work things out really well currently. I’m glad I’m no longer dependent on my partner for enjoyment and love. I’m glad I can provide that for myself now, which makes my days enjoyable. I have all I need to make my day great – myself.
