Daily Affirmation

Close your eyes, inhale deeply, exhale slowly, and repeat after me: As I take on new challenges, I feel calm, confident, and powerful. Follow it by a shallow inhale and exhale and nod to yourself. You feel the energy of positive self-talk and smile. This is my usual ritual when it comes to affirmations.

Sometimes I don’t deep dive into a reflection, sometimes I just affirm the saying, feel it, and move forward. Even though an affirmation doesn’t always trigger a deep reflection for me, the energy of the positivity still helps, and it does make me feel positive heading into the day.

You don’t always need to be thinking deeply about your life and reflecting every single day. Some days you just want to exist. It’s one of those days for me.
