It’s the small gestures that really make a difference. A deep kiss rather than a quick peck. The small precious moments of time we take out of our day to spend uninterrupted time together. The sharing of our feelings. Shared hope for the future. I don’t need the huge, romantic gestures. I just need you, your love, and a little bit of your time and attention. Love is appreciating all the time you can get with one another while also respecting each other’s space and not being upset or complaining about wanting to spend more time. Love is being able to communicate how you feel without being afraid. Love is being vulnerable and trusting the other person not to hurt you. Love is doing whatever you can to make the other person happy because you want to, not because you feel obligated to. Love is setting boundaries and respecting them. Love is recognizing that the other person is not just there for you, that they have their own individual life as well. Love is mutually caring for each other and sharing the same feelings towards one another.
I found love with you.
