We’ve officially reached one year of being a couple. And yes, I’m the type to count again from the first official date and exclude the week-long break up because it doesn’t count. Every relationship has its hiccups and it’d be disheartening to discount the past 11 months that we’ve worked together on. Our end goals are still the same, but the journey is still a little patchy and foggy. We don’t have many plans after our vacation coming up in a couple weeks, but we did agree that we wanted to spend Valentine’s Day together. I’ve learned to just take it day by day and although imagining the future gives me hope, I’ve learned to not put so much weight and pressure on it. Whatever happens, happens. If it’s meant to be, things will work out. Happy First Anniversary to us!
