Vacation Photo Dump

This was, by far, the best vacation I’ve ever had. Not only did I get to meet members of an online Paralegal community (and learn!), I participated in a lot of activities around the cruise ship and made the most out of each day.

The cruise ship stops at Ochos Rios, Jamaica and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas didn’t have the best weather. The weather during most of the cruise was windy and cloudy, so it wasn’t the warmest weather. I get cold easily so being on the islands with the clouds and breeze wasn’t very enjoyable for me. Since my scars are still healing, I am unable to swim or soak in water either so I wasn’t really able to get full use of the cruise and beaches. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t have changed anything besides not having wind. The food on Norwegian Getaway was good – not great, but not terrible either. The churrascaria on board was probably the best, food-wise. Savor was an elegant, classy restaurant that I honestly didn’t expect. The food was divine at Savor and the service was just like a 5-star restaurant. The best part? Complimentary and you can dine in casual clothes. There were a few restaurants that we didn’t try because they weren’t complimentary, but I expect they were on the higher quality side since you had to be well-dressed to dine there.

I was able to share this vacation with my partner and I wouldn’t have it any other way. There were a few members in the Paralegal group traveling solo, and I honestly don’t think I myself would enjoy a cruise solo. I don’t even think I’d enjoy it as much with friends or family. Being able to take vacations with my partner alone is one of my happy moments/places. I pretty much get to spend quality time with him without the distraction of a phone and other friends. It’s just us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
