Surprise, surprise, drinking more water has left me feeling less tired BUT I was still fairly exhausted today. I went straight to sleep after coming home after enduring the brunt of traffic. The idea of moving closer to work is more and more enticing. Though I don’t mind driving or traffic much, it takes a toll on me after a long day of work. Luckily, I have not fallen asleep driving as I used to when driving through an hour of traffic in the middle of the afternoon. Maybe I’m getting better sleep nowadays to prevent this from happening. Hopefully. Despite being extremely scared to fall asleep while driving, that apparently didn’t stop my body in the past. Luckily, no accidents happened.
Before I fell asleep, I fantasized about making a little cubby under my desk with a few floor cushions and a bedskirt to make a small hideout where I can rest. The idea is most likely forbidden for obvious reasons; however, it’s a comforting thought to be able to hideaway when needed, to take a small cat nap and wade out traffic.
I woke up at 8:47 P.M. from my mini slumber, starving. I perhaps only woke up because my bladder was screaming to be relieved. I feel completely rested. I trusted that my body would sleep as much as I needed for the time being and did not set any alarms. (But being the anxious nelly, I still set my normal morning alarms.)
Dinner consists of stovetop pasta, air fried pizza, and a coke with the accompaniment of Grey’s Anatomy.
